Help for a Female Dog Who Needs Surgery as Soon as Possible

Some emergencies suddenly break into our everyday lives, leaving us shocked, unprepared, and intensifying the vulnerability and helplessness we feel when the health of someone we love is at risk. Especially when their well-being depends on treatment that needs to happen as quickly as possible.

Whenever the one facing a critical situation is an animal that has shared our home, routines, and family life for years, the worry inevitably becomes even heavier. After so much time together, we come to see them on the same level as a person, as an irreplaceable member of the family, and we want to do everything we can to make sure they can continue living surrounded by the people who love them.

It is from this situation that “Help for a Female Dog Who Needs Surgery as Soon as Possible” was created, a personal fundraising campaign on TrustMeUp by Narcisa Liliana.

The fundraiser was created to help cover the costs of having her nine-year-old dog undergo surgery as soon as possible, following a recent diagnosis of pyometra.

A Diagnosis That Came Out of Nowhere

According to the campaign, the dog was diagnosed with pyometra on August 19, a serious bacterial infection of the uterus that made another surgical procedure necessary.

Although, according to her family, she had previously undergone an ovariectomy with another veterinarian, some ovarian tissue reportedly remained and continued to produce hormones, to the point that the dog later went into heat again.

The situation has now been complicated by an infection and requires a hysterectomy.

Waiting for Surgery

The dog is currently receiving antibiotic treatment while waiting for surgery.

For Narcisa and her family, getting her into surgery as soon as possible is therefore the priority, in the hope of overcoming this new emergency and continuing to share their everyday life with her.

Behind the need to find the financial resources for her treatment is, above all, the desire not to give up in the face of a diagnosis that arrived unexpectedly and to do everything possible to help her.

A Story That Began at a Shelter Nine Years Ago

The bond between this family and their dog goes back a long way.

Narcisa says she adopted her from an animal shelter when she was just three and a half months old. Almost nine years have passed since then, during which the puppy grew up alongside her family, becoming a true member of it.

Today, Narcisa describes her as 46 kilograms of sweetness and love, and she does not hide how difficult it is to imagine losing her now. Knowing that the day will inevitably come when they have to say goodbye does not lessen the desire to do everything possible to make sure that day is not today.

Help to Get Through This Emergency

It is precisely so that her dog can receive the surgery she needs that Narcisa decided to ask others for support.

The family also says that they have documentation relating to the situation described in the fundraiser and are making it available as evidence of the medical journey they are currently facing.

Every contribution can therefore become concrete help in dealing with this emergency and supporting the dog on her journey toward the surgery she needs.

When Solidarity Can Offer One More Chance

Anyone who shares their life with an animal knows how difficult it is to feel helpless when their health is suddenly compromised.

At times like this, the solidarity of many people can help ease the financial burden of treatment, allowing a family to focus their energy on the most important battle of all: their animal’s health.

And sharing the fundraiser can also make a difference, helping the story reach other people who may be willing to offer their support.
